Artificial Is The New Original

The artificial merchandise industry is in a boom. I don’t come to know where the artificial stops and the real begins anymore. It has infiltrated not just the materialistic possessions but also the bodily possessions.

Artificial intelligence is replacing the brain in front of our eyes.We are using it in our everyday life.

Siri, Google Now, and Cortana are all intelligent digital personal assistants on various platforms (iOS, Android, and Windows Mobile). In short, they help find useful information when you ask for it using your voice; you can say “Where’s the nearest Chinese restaurant?”, “What’s on my schedule today?”, “Remind me to call Anand at eight o’clock,” and the assistant will respond by finding information, relaying information from your phone, or sending commands to other apps.

Have you ever gotten an email or a letter asking you if you made a specific purchase on your credit card? Many banks send these types of communications if they think there’s a chance that fraud may have been committed on your account, and want to make sure that you approve the purchase before sending money over to another company. Artificial intelligence is often the technology deployed to monitor for this type of fraud.

While they’re rather simple when compared to other AI systems, apps like Spotify, Pandora, and Netflix accomplish a useful task: recommending music and movies based on the interests you’ve expressed and judgments you’ve made in the past. By monitoring the choices you make and inserting them into a learning algorithm, these apps make recommendations that you’re likely to be interested in.

Japanese doctors have for the first time used artificial intelligence (AI) to detect a type of leukaemia, which helped to save a patient’s life as the disease had gone undetected using conventional methods.

Not just for technology, but it has replaced body parts as well like Heart, Yes, you heard it correct, HEART. The artificial heart is a very sophisticated medical device. I confess I don’t know much about it, but the idea of fabricated body organs is both fascinating and scary. It makes me wonder how far can the man go in his quest to replicate nature.

Your smartphone, your car, your bank, and your house all use artificial intelligence on a daily basis; sometimes it’s obvious what it’s’ doing, like when you ask Siri to get you directions to the nearest gas station. Sometimes it’s less obvious, like when you make an abnormal purchase on your credit card and don’t get a fraud alert from your bank. AI is everywhere, and it’s making a huge difference in our lives every day.

    1. Thank you for the visit and the comment my dear. It often awes me to think that the internet has brought people from afar so close. Nice to know that someone from Wisconsin, USA, read my post, and liked my thoughts. Your blog is awesome and there is so much content to read there, will be paying it more visits. Keep smiling always !

  2. The digital assistants still have flaws which is why most of the commands and voices used to instruct them are recorded for analysis. My English is more formal than the software is designed for and perhaps the designers coded it to capture their biases. I read an article a lot racist robots, and it featured a video that couldn’t detect a darker skin tone. Disturbing if tech copies man.

    1. Very true, it is disturbing is AI copied man. After all, we are nature’s creation and AI is our creation, we can never outdo nature, can never make the prototype better than ourselves, it will always have flaws, come what may. Nice article you shared with me, it sure makes one think if the man can spread hatred to machines too ? Enlightening yet disturbing. Thank You for visiting me and commenting dear. Smile Always !

  4. With the growth in AI I can’t help but wonder when the machines will turn against us. I am a Sci-Fi fan so this is never too far off. But until then, I shall keep enjoying the beauties of AI. Great read.

    1. Thank You Deb. AI movies are a treat to watch, when they show the unfathomable, like X-men: Days of a Future Past. I hope I am not gonna see technology do such destruction, I hope it only makes life easier for mankind. 😊👍🏻

  5. Hey Hope you are having a wonderful day.
I work for a music agency that would help all kinds of artist, no matter what genre, we get their music spread out at a much faster pace.
What we do is help each individual artist by getting hundreds, even thousands of people to check out your music.
You end up coming out with a new fan base and thousands of plays for your tracks. We get this done for every artist at around 250 although, due to the fact that I took a great liking to your music, I can get this down to 10.
Once you throw in the tracks, be sure to use this code: tkmusic10
and you should see the tag drop.
As soon as that is done, you are set and we’ll take it from there.
    Have a good weekend!
