In today’s fast-paced world, distractions from smartphones and digital devices can make it challenging for individuals to fully focus and give their attention to others in face-to-face interactions. Recognizing the deteriorating power of listening, I have started a movement called “I Listen” on my counselling and coaching profile, aimed at creating a culture of compassionate […]

Constant efforts to provide better opportunities to enable their kids to learn and lead a life at par with any other person coupled with anxiety about “what after us” defines the lives of autistic parents.

I believe my previous experience as a non-professional counsellor and life coach was a training period for the present when I could capitalise on what I had learned over the years. What a wonderful feeling it was to discover that what I had been suggesting to people was also being used in CBT Techniques, albeit […]

Man is subjected to time. For everything, there is a season, and a time for every activity and everything is beautiful in its own time. Does it mean we need to wait for the right time for everything to fall into its place? If it’s so, then why do we worry about life, relationships, career, […]

Yet another page from the mother-daughter diary “Mom, please tell me a story and put me to sleep,” my daughter requested. It’s a part of our routine. Sometimes I read folk tale books, and sometimes I play bedtime stories on YouTube (when I have a lot of things to wind up and anxiety kicks in […]

Travel has always been my favourite thing, regardless of the mode of transportation. I’ve always enjoyed bus rides, but the views I get to see on a train ride make it even more enjoyable. And a car ride gives me the feeling that I’m about to embark on an adventure. Those who know me are […]

They’re not botheredby the chaos and dangers all around them.As the fearless rangersThey’re known for living within their ‘joyous frame’. In the past year or so, a lot has changed. At times, I find myself questioning whether I am making progress or getting sidetracked by the numerous distractions around me. Although I am eager to pursue various endeavours, I sometimes neglect to ask myself a crucial question: “Are all these activities beneficial for me?” If […]

The flares of your seething rage when I fail to take a stand for myself spells love for me. The Innocent faults you make to weave perfection in mundane activities spell love for me. The indifference you show towards my imperfections that make me queer spells love for me. The calm and smile that you […]

Of course. You can email me a quote/quotes and photo (optional), or a whole post if you like and I will post it with a link back to your blog. I usually write the same introductory paragraph on each Proverbial Thursday post but you can please yourself how you write it up.
